It is with great pleasure I share the Presidential Search Committee has completed initial interviews with those candidates deemed most outstanding among an enormous pool of highly qualified candidates. From these initial interviews, subsequent interviews are underway with select candidates identified as most exceptional.

As we move closer to the final phase of the Search, it is with inexpressible gratitude that I commend the members of the Committee for the hundreds of hours devoted to this critical endeavor. The Board of Trustees and the entire College Community are deeply indebted to them for the sacrifices they have made to ensure the legacy of excellence at FSC is in highly capable hands.

I am pleased to share the Presidential Search Committee is diligently reviewing and assessing a very deep pool of candidates that exceeded our expectations. The Committee commends our Search partner, Academic Search, for their excellent work that has resulted in a robust group of highly qualified candidates.

The consideration of all candidates will result in the identification of those discerned the most viable to lead FSC. These individuals will be further assessed through participation in initial interviews with the Search Committee.

I am enormously grateful to the members of the Committee for their diligence and considerable investment of time, expertise, and energy in the search process.

The Presidential Search Committee held highly successful Listening Sessions on campus February 28 and 29. Dr. Ann Hasselmo, Senior Consultant with our Search partner, Academic Search, and Committee representatives were highly impressed by the contributions of the College Community and the profound desire expressed to continued excellence in all aspects of the College. Involvement in these Sessions is crucial to developing the ultimate profile of the most desired candidate to lead FSC into the future. We are most grateful for these enthusiastic, productive engagements.
