If I didn’t enter ³Ô¹ÏÍø as a nursing student, can I join the program?
Occasionally, there are opportunities for students already enrolled at Florida Southern to apply to the program. They must follow the procedures outlined in the current FSC catalog, part of which requires a written essay and a meeting with the nursing program director during November of their first semester. To be considered, students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and completion of prerequisite coursework.
Can I apply to the nursing program if I come in with college credit or an A.A. degree?
Transfer students can apply for limited spaces in ³Ô¹ÏÍø's esteemed direct-entry nursing program. More about nursing transfer opportunities
I was not admitted the direct-entry nursing program. Is there another option for enrollment at FSC?
We strongly encourage you to consider joining the ³Ô¹ÏÍø community with a different intended major. FSC offers other options for students who have an interest in working in the healthcare industry. Graduates of our Exercise Science program are prepared to move on to graduate programs in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Exercise Physiology or enter directly into the workforce through the strength and conditioning concentration. If you plan to enroll at ³Ô¹ÏÍø, please speak with your Admission Counselor about changing your intended major. Your Admissions Counselor can be reached at the Office of Admissions at 863.274.4131.
