How to Apply: a Step-by-Step Process
Applying for Adult Bachelor's

Start Your Application
Use our free, online adult bachelor’s application to get started.

Send Supporting Materials
Provide the following supporting documents either electronically (preferred) or via mail:
- Official transcripts of all academic work taken previously at other colleges, universities, or professional schools
- Successful completion of any additional requirements described by program*
* Please refer to the specific degree program requirements for other admission expectations. Interviews for ³Ô¹ÏÍø programs may be required for final admission decisions.
If fewer than 25 credit hours have been earned from a regionally accredited college or university, provide the following:
- Official transcript of high school record or GED
- Official SAT or ACT test scores
Once all supporting materials have been submitted, your application will be reviewed and you will be notified of an admission decision.

Next Steps Once Admitted
Once you’ve been admitted, you can apply for financial aid and scholarships. No deposit is required.

- An earned baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education as verified by an official transcript of all undergraduate work completed
- Updated resume
- Personal or professional statement
- Successful completion of any standardized entrance exams, licensure requirements, or additional requirements described by program*

Once all supporting materials have been submitted, your application will be reviewed and you will be notified of an admission decision.

You will need to submit a non-refundable, enrollment deposit, which will be applied to your first semester tuition.

If you’re applying to the Doctor of Physical Therapy program, you will need to apply through the Physical Therapist Centralized Application Service (PTCAS) portal.

Send Supporting Materials
Provide the following supporting documents either electronically (preferred) or via mail:
- Official transcripts of all academic work taken previously at other colleges, universities, or professional schools
- An earned graduate degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education as verified by an official transcript of all graduate work completed (doctoral education and nursing applicants only)
- Updated resume
- Personal or professional statement
- Successful completion of any standardized entrance exams, licensure requirements, or additional requirements described by program*

Verify Workshop Eligibility
Please verify all courses with your district certification department and/or Florida DOE Certification Office prior to enrolling in courses (View Brochure for required courses).
An official transcript must be requested by the student and sent to the Florida Department of Education upon completion of coursework.
If you currently hold a Temporary Teaching Certificate and need to complete coursework, please confirm that the courses we offer align with the items on your Statement of Status of Eligibility.
