My teaching philosophy is based on the belief that learning should be student-centered. I encourage students to grow as individuals and to connect their learning and critical thinking skills to the world around them. I strive to be an active participant in the growth and well-being of individuals within my circle of influence while demonstrating integrity, respect, passion, empathy, caring and patience.
Biography
Dr. Jeanne B. Jenkins earned her BS in nursing from UNC Charlotte and MSN/MBA and PhD in nursing from UNC Greensboro. She has 25 years of nursing experience including emergency department and primary care settings, case management and clinical leadership in the acute care setting. Prior to joining FSC, Dr. Jenkins was Coordinator of the MSN Administration Concentration and Clinical Assistant Professor at the UNC Greensboro School of Nursing. She has experience teaching across all academic nursing programs and in face-to-face, hybrid, and online delivery. Her research interest is nursing leadership.Education
