Teaching is exhilarating. I never feel more energized than after a class that has gone well. Each time I teach, I aim to perpetuate knowledge and inspire learning. I believe that the amount of learning is strongly influenced by the amount and type of student participation. I invite my students into the course material by encouraging active and participatory learning. Simulations, debates, role playing, and games are a regular part of my classes.

Just this past April, I had the opportunity to work closely with our students as they presented at the Enactus United States National Exposition. I was truly inspired by our students' display of confidence and willingness to use their knowledge and spirit of entrepreneurship to leverage progress with our community. Their efforts were recognized placing the FSC team among the top twenty in the nation. As the Enactus Advisor this year, our work continues with the unwavering goal of empowering real human progress.
